I’ve always believed that stories carry something precious, a memory, a lesson, or a moment of wonder. As I look toward the next stage of life, I’m excited to explore these stories more deeply and share them in ways that honour curiosity, reflection, and the simple joys of life.
Writing children’s books has become my path. Not because I want to become famous, but because I want to create something gentle and meaningful, a small space where ideas, nature, and imagination can meet. These stories are for anyone who remembers what it’s like to see the world through fresh eyes, whether you have grandchildren or simply a love for childhood and the natural world.
Children’s books are small by design, but their impact is big. They ask for clarity, heart, and truth. They invite us to slow down, notice, and reflect. This work allows me to explore creativity, connect with the rhythms of life, and share experiences in a way that is gentle, thoughtful, and full of meaning all while supporting early literacy.
I live on Vancouver Island, BC, surrounded by forests, beaches, and the changing seasons. I spend my days with my three dogs, gardening, exploring the wonders of nature, and letting these moments inspire my stories. These experiences remind me that beauty is everywhere when we take the time to notice it.
I’m passionate about early literacy and helping children (and adults!) see the world with curiosity and care. I’m also passionate about approaching this next stage of life with creativity, reflection, and the freedom to share what matters most.
